Image Clipping Path
Clipping path in an image editing program. Clipping path (a technique achieved using Pen tool) is considered the most efficient image masking technique. Which allows part of an image to show while hiding the rest. Usually it is used to "knock out" the background.
An image clipping path lets you isolate the foreground object and make everything else transparent when the image is printed or placed in another application.
